Hi, I’m Shonna Kuhner, founder of Ashes Up Bookkeeping & HR Consulting in Ocala, FL. I started this business to help you stop spending late nights on receipts, spreadsheets, payroll, or HR headaches—and instead focus on growing with confidence.

With 7+ years in HR, Payroll, Accounting, and Compliance across industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and education, I’ve streamlined processes, managed multi-state payrolls, developed HR policies, resolved employee relations issues, and saved companies thousands annually. My passion is giving you clean books, clear financials, compliant HR practices, and peace of mind.

I moved from Northern California to Florida in 2024 and now live in Ocala with my boyfriend, niece, and two dogs. Through Ashes Up, I combine technical expertise with a people-first approach to help you save time, reduce stress, strengthen your team, and rise above the numbers.
